Leah began her Aerial journey on the East Coast in 2017 after attending a performance showcase. She realized she could take her Yoga practice to flight, finding a sense of flow between postures in the air. Attending classes several times a week quickly made Aerial her greatest passion and she soon began contorting her life experience around Circus Arts.
Leah is a Certified Yoga Teacher, Thai Massage Therapist and formerly a Physical Therapist Assistant, all of which have strengthened her insight on alignment, progressions and skilled transitions while instructing Aerial classes.
From her experiences as a PTA, Leah has a plethora of strength and flexibility exercises in her wheelhouse and helps students develop mind to muscle connection for Aerial practice.
She believes Aerial should be fun and encourages students to find creative expression in class by exploring new shapes from the familiar while developing a strong foundation for more challenging techniques.
When Leah is not in the Aerial Gym you can find her exploring the PNW with her dog, Banjo.
