March 19, 2020 Temporary Closure / Help save Afterglow, please donate

Dear students & parents of Afterglow Aerial Arts,

Upon heavily considering things as the events unfold, we have decided to close our doors starting Tuesday, March 17th, our re-open date is to be determined. These are crucial times to stop the spread of the virus through social distancing and we want to do our part in slowing it down. As a reminder, we are extending our open gym make ups for this series to a date that will be disclosed when we know more about this situation. We are also offering some weekly online classes which can be used to make up any missed classes during the break. Check out our schedule here:

(Keep up with those push ups! 😉)

We know this is a difficult time for many. As a small business, this is not an easy decision. For missing multiple weeks of classes, you are welcome to keep a credit in your account, or, if you feel so inclined, you can choose to donate those classes to the studio while we are closed. Every little bit helps right now. Please send us an email letting us know what you decide (to keep a credit or donate it to the studio). If you know anyone who is interested in donating to Afterglow Aerial Arts, you can donate here:

We will be pushing out the dates for our Afterglow Lounge Show and the Spring Student Showcase. The Afterglow Lounge will now be on Saturday, May 2nd at 9:30-11:30pm. The student showcase will now be on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th (Saturday will have two show times, Sunday will have one, we will be announcing the times in the near future).

During the break we are planning to deep clean the studio and clean all of our props. We will miss you all dearly and encourage you to continue to do exercises at home (if you have a pull-up bar, now is it’s time to shine!). This is a trying time for many and exercise is a great way to combat stress and relax so please keep moving! We will get through this.

Sincerely and with love,

Afterglow Aerial Arts Crew (our best form of communication)
