Each class will consist of flexibility, strength and stability training, basic knowledge of the aerial equipment such as the Silks, Trapeze, Corde Lisse (free rope), Hammock and Lyra (aerial hoop). Some classes will have a specialty talent to learn such as juggling, poi spinning or hula hooping depending on the students. Come have fun while perfecting a brand new trick!
YES, you may drop into this class for $30. **NOTE: At this time we are limiting class sizes and drop ins, to ensure there is room please message Afterglowpdx@gmail.com and say what your background with aerial, if any, is. Show up to class 15 minutes early, bringing cash or card. You may also pay online (in the Drop-in classes section) and show your teacher a screenshot of your receipt.
We need a minimum of 3 students to run a class. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be credited another class of equal value or refunded.
To allow each student enough time on the apparatus and attention from instructors, our class sizes are limited to 8 students per teacher to benefit everyone (currently a max of 5 students).
If you are new to the studio, please make sure you arrive 15 minutes early.
We strongly recommend students to take two classes per series. This will help you get stronger, more flexible, and more effectively reach your aerial and fitness goals.
Cash or check is best but we also accept Venmo, Cash App and ZELLE. When signing up for a series via the Cash/Check option, please do so at least 24 hours before the class.
